"Blanca" Jung Cheol-gyu mentioned his future plans and revealed his goals going forward.
On the afternoon of the 24th, Jung Cheol-gyu spoke with OSEN in a phone interview and shared his feelings about announcing a new start the day before on MBN's 'Special Report'.
Jung Cheol-gyu is currently working as a multicultural specialist instructor and said he also tried stand-up comedy. He said, "I have been lecturing as a multicultural specialist instructor for about 12 years. Among multicultural specialist instructors, I think I am number one."
He continued, "Since people are finding me through broadcasts too, I wondered whether I could broaden the scope of my lectures by doing both broadcasting and lectures. Now that people say I'm the best in that field, I thought about doing a show like teacher Kim Chang-ok, communicating with the public and soothing their hearts."
Jung Cheol-gyu explained, "I think it's necessary to make it more entertaining, so I believe stand-up is essential. I started the 'Blanca show' because I thought my lectures and stand-up comedy could create more synergy when combined."
Showing affection for his signature catchphrase "Boss, you're mean," Jung Cheol-gyu said, "I think this catchphrase is a source of empathy that cannot disappear in human history. The positions of the person who gives the paycheck and the person who receives it are very different, aren't they? Discomfort toward superiors exists everywhere. While keeping that tone, I plan to continue the lectures as lectures."
Finally, Jung Cheol-gyu said emotionally, "Because multiculturalism made the character Blanca possible, I will continue multicultural lectures. In addition, I will continue the 'Blanca show', which can touch hearts by empathizing and communicating with the public. When I was young I wanted to be a star, but after experiencing some pain, I think being able to do broadcasting for a long time is being a star, and that might be strength."
