Actor Jung Woo spoke about his 10 years of obscurity.
On the afternoon of the 24th, the general programming channel MBN's "Jun Hyun-moo plan 3" aired, featuring Jung Woo and actor Shin Seung-ho as guests for the second installment of the "Seoul back-alley tour."
That day Jun Hyun-moo mentioned Jung Woo's years of obscurity. Jung Woo said "I was obscure for about 10 years. My actual income started from the drama Lee Soon Shin is the Best, which I filmed after the movie 'Baram,'" drawing attention.
Jung Woo added, "After that, I received an offer for 'Reply 1994.'" Reply 1994 is a work by writer Lee Woo-jung and PD Shin Won-ho, and Jung Woo played the lead, showing impressive acting in a romance with actress Go Ara and gaining great popularity. This work also served as the occasion that engraved Jung Woo's name and face in the public's mind.
Jung Woo also spoke frankly about Shin Seung-ho, who co-starred with him in the movie 'Jjanggu.' Jung Woo said of Shin Seung-ho, "I expect more from him in the future. He says he wants to change his tough image, but if he creates another character with that strong image, he'll explode with potential," expressing his expectations.
Shin Seung-ho also spoke that day about his days as an athlete before debuting as an actor. Shin Seung-ho said, "I lived as a soccer player for 12 years until I was 21. After an injury I was able to rehabilitate, but I didn't want to continue," and "I quit soccer, worked as a fashion model, and then became an actor."
He also said he had been a bodyguard for Red Velvet member Irene, saying, "While working part-time on the department store security team, I was in charge of close protection," and "I had forgotten, but I met Red Velvet's Irene again while filming a movie," which drew attention.
