Actor Hyeri reportedly gave up her company re-signing bonus and distributed it to the staff.
On the 24th a video titled "The Maldives I dreamed of.. I finally made my dream come true" was posted on the YouTube channel "Hyeri."
On the way to the airport Hyeri excitedly said, "I'm finally going. I'm going to the Maldives." She added, "I'm going with our Heme team who worked with me on 'To You, Dream.' I'm taking our kids along, squeezing them in and bringing them. Because they worked so hard, I said let's go make happy memories together. But someone said they didn't have a passport. So they hurried to make a passport and we left without any problem," she said.
Hyeri arrived in the Maldives after an exhausting 17-hour travel time with her staff and enjoyed a satisfying time.
During dinner the youngest staff member said, "This is my first time traveling abroad. Unnie suddenly called and said, 'Minjin! You need to make a passport.' I said, 'Okay, I'll go make it now.' It turned out to be a reward trip to the Maldives. I got my first passport stamp in the Maldives," and expressed joy.
Another staff member said, "When we were preparing a lucky draw for the wrap party we went to a department store together and she kept asking what would be good as prizes. After filming finished and we got into the car, suddenly there was a wallet on the seat. My hands were trembling a little. But it was really pretty," and expressed gratitude.
And another staff member said, "We each had different artists to manage, so if Hyeri had left the company we would have been left stranded. As the contract expiration approached the company directors called us all in. I thought to myself, 'Hyeri is leaving.' Suddenly we heard that Hyeri re-signed. But Hyeri, as a condition of re-signing, did not take the signing bonus and said, 'Give your bonuses to the staff.' We all cried there," and expressed gratitude toward Hyeri.
