Former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun spoke candidly about remarriage.
At the end of the MBN broadcast of Jun Hyun-moo plan 3, which aired the afternoon of the 23rd, a preview was shown for next week's episode featuring Hwang Jae-gyun.
Jun Hyun-moo and GwakTube visited Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang Province. That day's guest was recently retired former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun. Hwang Jae-gyun appeared on the MBC variety show I Live Alone in the past, building a close relationship with Jun Hyun-moo.
In Mungyeong, Hwang Jae-gyun mentioned tangsuyuk, duck soup, small gukbap, and tteokbokki, expressing his anticipation. He said, "I eat anything well," but restaurants they visited refused to film at each location. Hwang Jae-gyun was embarrassed, saying, "Is it like this every week?"
They eventually succeeded in booking a popular restaurant and focused on eating. Then GwakTube asked Hwang Jae-gyun a blunt question: "You said you were thinking about marriage again — do you think you'll do it before Hyun-moo hyung?"
Hwang Jae-gyun coolly replied, "I think I'll get married before Hyun-moo hyung," and Jun Hyun-moo drew attention by saying, "I've never done it? In a streak?"
Hwang Jae-gyun previously appeared on several MBC variety shows, including Omniscient Interfering View, and said he was considering remarriage because he wanted to have children.
In February 2022, Hwang Jae-gyun admitted to dating T-ara member Ji-yeon and held a wedding in December. However, rumors of divorce began to surface around two years after the marriage, and the divorce was officially announced in October 2024.
