Actor Choi Daniel attempted his second bucket list.
On the 24th episode aired, tvN's "Gugidong Friends" episode 3 featured actor Choi Daniel, who is rich in bucket list items, drawing attention by realizing his second wish of having bronze skin.
That day Choi Daniel said, "I wanted to try tanning and bleaching my hair yellow. Like a character in a cartoon," and because he could not tan right away he decided to try applying charcoal to his body.
Flatmate friend (a friend who lives together) Jang Geun-seok and Ahn Jae-hyeon empathized, saying, "Men have that kind of fantasy," and began applying charcoal to Choi Daniel's body.
Choi Daniel said, "When you work as an actor there's almost no opportunity to dye or bleach your hair. Because you have to portray a variety of roles, it's difficult to make drastic changes. I never got to try tanning when I was young, so I want to experience it once," then asked Jang Geun-seok and Ahn Jae-hyeon to take it seriously.
Jang Geun-seok and Ahn Jae-hyeon encouraged Choi Daniel, saying, "You look like you've lost weight," "The shoulder shape came alive," "It's really good," "It emphasizes masculinity," and "Even if it's awkward, I hope you try tanning once."
However, Kyung Soo-jin, Lee Da-hee and Jang Do-youn watched Choi Daniel striking poses with charcoal on his body and said nothing, prompting laughter. In interviews with the production team the three confessed, "We didn't know how to say it. It doesn't suit him," and "Not great?"
Furthermore, Jang Do-youn said, "If you're not dating someone, would you stay silent while looking at someone half naked? I wondered if it's right to stare so intently when you're not close," and added, "But because I want to help with the best choice I end up inspecting. So I memorized Daniel's body. I think I could draw it," she joked, adding more laughter.
Jang Do-youn admonished Choi Daniel, saying, "If you're going to go around naked, tan; if you're going to wear clothes, don't tan," and Kyung Soo-jin said, "If it's a friend I'd stop you, and if it's a lover I'd advise him to grow a beard."
Lee Da-hee ran to her room to get a mirror, then knelt and held up the mirror to show Choi Daniel, creating another laugh. Faced with the intense reactions of the women, Choi Daniel concluded, "I don't think tanning suits me."
Meanwhile, Choi Daniel called Ahn Jae-hyeon while showering to remove the charcoal he had applied all over his body. Ahn Jae-hyeon, having apparently seen Choi Daniel naked, burst out laughing inside the bathroom and then said, "I don't know what kind of feeling this is," and, "I ended up seeing it after all," provoking uproarious laughter. <
