"Gippeun uri joeun nal" Um Hyun-kyung finally breaks into tears over family conflict.
In episode 20 of the KBS 1TV daily drama "Gippeun uri joeun nal" (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Seon-hye), set to air today (24), Jo Eun-ae (played by Um Hyun-kyung) collapses under wounds inflicted by her family.
Earlier, Kang Yeon-ja (played by Kim Hye-ok) rushed to raise money after hearing that she had to donate 200 million won to the school for her son Jo Eun-hyeong (played by Choi Sungwon) to be hired as a professor. Kang Yeon-ja pressured Jo Seong-jun (played by Sunwoo Jae-duk) to look into loans and severance pay, but Jo Eun-hyeong had already said he would give up the professorship, saying a position cannot be bought with money. Worried her son might miss the opportunity, Kang Yeon-ja finally reached out to her daughter Jo Eun-ae asking to borrow the proceeds from the sale of "Lucky Joy Tech." But Jo Eun-ae firmly refused, bringing mother-daughter conflict to a peak.
With Jo Eun-ae refusing her mother's request, a still released ahead of today's (24) broadcast shows Jo Seong-jun comforting his daughter Jo Eun-ae, drawing attention. While voicing Kang Yeon-ja's wish for the proceeds from the sale of "Lucky Joy Tech," Jo Seong-jun also soothes Jo Eun-ae's wounds and becomes a solid pillar of support.
But when an unexpected visitor appears at Jo Eun-ae's company, a cloud once again hangs over her daily life. In the end Jo Eun-ae secretly bursts into tears, and Go Gyeol (played by Yoon Jong-hoon), who happens to witness this, may comfort Jo Eun-ae in his own way and possibly lead the situation to a positive outcome, drawing interest.
