Actor Shin Seung-ho revealed an anecdote about serving as security for Red Velvet before his debut.
On the afternoon of the 24th, the MBN variety show Jun Hyun-moo plan 3 featured actors Jung Woo and Shin Seung-ho embarking on 'Seoul back alley tour' part 2.
The first visited tuna specialty restaurant opened before Shin Seung-ho was born, and Shin Seung-ho, born in 1995 and known for his mature-looking face, said "I am three years younger than Junbin, who was born in 1992," drawing laughter.
Formerly a soccer player, Shin Seung-ho said, "I played as a college player until I was 21. I was a center back. But life as a soccer player was no longer enjoyable, so I quit," and added, "I played soccer for about 11 to 12 years and had injuries. The injury was fairly serious. After a period of rehabilitation I could have returned to play soccer, but I didn't want to. I wasn't happy or having fun. So I quit being a player, did some fashion modeling for a short time, and now I'm acting."
Asked, "What do you mean you were a security guard for Red Velvet?", he said, "I wasn't the assigned bodyguard, but after I quit playing I wanted to try lots of part-time jobs. I had only done sports. So I worked on the security team at a department store," and continued, "I was on the security team, and at that time Red Velvet came to the department store for an event, and my superior said, 'On that day, Seung-ho, you do close protection.' I was told to do it, so I said I would. Later I completely forgot about it, and then I ended up filming a movie with Red Velvet's Irene, which revealed an unusual connection."
Shin Seung-ho said, "Irene is four years older than me," and a surprised Jun Hyun-moo couldn't believe it, drawing laughter.
