TOMORROW X TOGETHER released their mini 8th album 7TH YEAR: "When the wind briefly stopped in the thornbush" and made a comeback on the 13th.
They surpassed 1.35 million in album sales on the day the new release came out, becoming million sellers, and achieved a triple crown on domestic album and digital charts as well as on Japan's Oricon weekly chart.
Foreign media praise also poured in. U.S. V magazine (VMAN) praised TOMORROW X TOGETHER's new release, saying, "We applaud the five members' endurance and growth after seven years of nonstop work in the rapidly changing K-pop market," and reported, "the unprecedented sincerity shown in this album is an indicator that proves TOMORROW X TOGETHER's artistic maturity."
Also, U.S. pop culture magazine The Honey Pop called it "this year's album contender that appeared at the most perfect timing in TOMORROW X TOGETHER's career," and praised, "There is no more perfect return than this."
U.K. pop culture magazine Wonderland said, "TOMORROW X TOGETHER produced a sound truer to themselves than ever. They are a group that proved their own worth and rose to their current position."
Global music and culture outlet tmrw Magazine also noted the album's high sales and analyzed, "These astonishing accomplishments indicate that they have more confidence than ever about the direction they should take and have artistically and meticulously realized it."
TOMORROW X TOGETHER took first place on cable channel MBC M and MBC every1's Show! Champion and Mnet's M Countdown after their comeback.
