On MBC I Live Alone, Ku Sung-hwan's final farewell to "Kkot-bun" is revealed. Ku, who until now could not bring himself to call or even look at "Kkot-bun," screams her name and breaks down in tears, moving viewers to tears.
Tonight (24) at 11:10 p.m., MBC I Live Alone (dir. Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Kim Jin-kyung, Moon Ki-young, Jeong Ji-woon) will reveal the final story of Ku Sung-hwan's 446km cross-country march.
With 1 km left to Busan Gwangalli Beach, the final destination of the march, Ku Sung-hwan cannot hide his welling emotions when he sees the sea in the distance. He grips the "Kkot-bun bracelet" tighter and pours out his last strength.
Finally setting foot on the sand at Busan Gwangalli Beach and completing the 446km march, Ku Sung-hwan collapses as his legs give out. He spends a long time taking in the sea where he made memories last summer with "Kkot-bun," and then says, "I haven't seen her even once since that day," before finally taking out "Kkot-bun"'s photo from his phone.
Ku Sung-hwan bursts into uncontrollable tears and, facing the sea, shouts, "Did you go well?" as he gives his final farewell to "Kkot-bun." Viewers were moved as Ku felt the flood of emotions brought on by 11 years of memories with "Kkot-bun" and the grueling 16 nights and 17 days of the journey flashing before his eyes.
