That day, Jasson and Hong Hyun-hee explained the purpose of donating while organizing their son Jun-beom's toys. Although they used to secretly give them to Jun-beom, the couple wanted to teach five-year-old Jun-beom about giving this year and practice sharing.
Jasson said, "Mom and dad tend to receive and buy a lot of toys as gifts, don't we? But there are friends who can't buy them. If we give them to those friends, they say thank you to Jun-beom and can play with them well. It's like Jun-beom is giving the gift," as he tried to persuade his son, but Jun-beom cried loudly. Jasson said, "Because Jun-beom is an only child, he finds this difficult," expressing regret but remaining firm.
Hong Hyun-hee said, "In the past, I sent toys to friends in Laos. I had been saving them because the kids in Laos were said to have no toys to play with," and added, "There is a promise I made after Jun-beom was born. We decided to make a donation on Children's Day. My thinking changed after the child was born. Other children are precious too, and I became like a parent," revealing her deepened feelings.
