'The absolute value of romance' Kim Hyang-gi was discovered by Cha Hak-yeon to be a BL writer, but narrowly escaped and promised to make Cha Hak-yeon the protagonist and continued serializing her work.
In the Coupang Play series released on the 24th 'The absolute value of romance' (writer Lee Min-ju·directors Lee Tae-gon, Kim Jun-hyung, production companies Pungnyeon Jeonpasang, Borderless Film), math teacher Ga Woo-su (Cha Hak-yeon) and the math-phobic Yeo Eui-ju (Kim Hyang-gi) bickered as he could not tolerate her.
Yoon Dong-ju (Kim Dong-kyu) felt sorry for his student Yeo Eui-ju and said a word to Ga Woo-su. Ga Woo-su coldly rebuked, "I know Eui-ju didn't answer. I couldn't accept that she got a 4 in math,"
Yeo Eui-ju also decided to take a difficult path. She decided to attend Ga Woo-su's after-school math class. Even though high-scoring students attended the after-school class, Eui-ju sat apathetically, dozed off and spent a happy time thinking about the lines from episode 3. Of course Ga Woo-su didn't let that go and assigned, "Solve all the problems today," as homework. Eui-ju forgot because she was hanging out with friends, but in fact she did not feel much guilt.
Seeing this, Ga Woo-su said, "What did I say about math the first day I came? It's a discipline of thinking. You must have heard it and let it go; you probably still ignored it. I wanted you to think. I didn't know you would be this beyond help. I'm disappointed," scolding her. Eui-ju apologized, but to her his words sounded like BL lines.
Eui-ju wrote episode 3 in the darkened library. She wrote brilliantly the lines for Joo Si-on, who is obsessed with Choi Yoon, that is, a character modeled on Yoon Dong-ju, and when she was satisfied with her own work she was overcome with anxiety. It turned out Ga Woo-su had been watching from behind.
Eui-ju tried to explain, "Someone here must have been writing a web novel. My goodness! It wasn't written by me," but Ga Woo-su replied, "You drank but you didn't drive drunk? You were writing here just now?" and pointed out that the characters were real people: "The rude literature student who appears as Choi Yoon is Yoon Dong-ju, the math genius Joo Si-on is me, the simple, ignorant physical education student who patches things up with his body is Jeong Ki-jeon, and the Japanese who only has money, Han Jae-min, is Noda-ju."
Eui-ju pleaded, but Ga Woo-su coldly said, "Either delete it or bring your parents." However, the next day his attitude changed. He was angry that he was not the protagonist in that story. And when he found out that 'Kang Tae-seong,' meaning the physical education student Jeong Ki-jeon (Son Jeong-hyeok), was the protagonist, he threatened Eui-ju, telling her to have it inspected and saying, "Make it my role." Eui-ju clutched her head saying, "As I kept writing the story the flow had to change," but she devised a trick.
She assumed Ga Woo-su wouldn't know about web novel sites. So Eui-ju had him check the original file and then uploaded it after changing the real original file to the protagonist she wanted, Kang Tae-seong, with a triumphant smile. But in the preview Ga Woo-su scanned a web novel site and gave an ominous look, saying, "Look at this."
