'Radio Star' Ki Tae-young showed unwavering affection for his wife Yoo-jin while thinking only of his family.

He continued, "So in the past I went on the news and got slammed for saying I didn't meet my wife because of her looks. I was being honest," adding, "Conversation must connect more than looks. I have an ideal I want."
Then Ki Tae-young added, "Because family is the most important to me, the point was what kind of person she would be as my wife, what kind of person she would be as the mother of our children."
At that moment close friend Ryu Jin chimed in, "When they said they were getting married, I felt Yoo-jin was such a loss. They acted together in a drama and she was from an idol background, so I thought Yoo-jin would be wasted. But after watching Ki Tae-young after marriage, I thought he was the one who was wasted. He's that good."
Then Ki Tae-young said, "These days on YouTube people call me 'a good husband, 'a good dad,' but honestly that's not the case," adding, "Even if I were born again I would choose to meet my wife. She is the best woman I could meet. She's truly a wonderful person," expressing his affection.
Ki Tae-young also said he decided to be devoted solely to his family after marriage. He said, "I planned my life around the family. I structured things so I could spend time with my children, and I've done that for 15 years. I'm always grateful that I had a lot of time with my children."
Meanwhile, Ki Tae-young drew attention by revealing an unusually frugal spirit. He said, "I don't shop much. There aren't many occasions to spend money, I don't drink or smoke. I don't go out to spend money. I only buy myself gifts on birthdays or anniversaries," he said.
He went on, "I buy things for 6,000 won or 8,000 won when they're on sale. Even wearing a 6,000-won T-shirt is perfectly fine," adding, "I manage my health a lot so I take care of my body. I like to keep it simple and wear jeans with a cotton T-shirt," he explained his preferences.
Then Kim Gu Ra asked, "How much is your monthly allowance?" Ki Tae-young revealed, "I think I spent 1 million won in a year. For personal expenses I spend 1 million won a year. I buy someone a cup of coffee or take them out to eat once," he said, surprising the audience.
In particular Ki Tae-young said, "I avoid unnecessary meetings. I study or spend time with my family in that time. I have no appointments after 6 p.m.," prompting further admiration. Hearing this, Kim Gu Ra said, "Mr. Ki is too big a vessel for us to hold."
