The group &TEAM(&TEAM) fired a powerful comeback signal by sweeping the top spots on major music charts in Korea and Japan with their new mini-album.
On the 22nd, according to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon, &TEAM's third Japanese mini-album 'We on Fire(위 온 파이어)' rose to No. 1 on Oricon's daily album ranking. The new release also claimed No. 1 on the daily album chart of Korea's largest album aggregation site Hanteo Chart on the 21st, achieving the feat of topping charts in both countries simultaneously.
Above all, it easily surpassed 1 million copies in sales on the first day of release alone, building a brilliant milestone as the group's third "million seller" overall.
&TEAM's unstoppable momentum was already a predictable result. Their previous work, the Korean first mini-album 'Back to Life(백 투 라이프)', sold 1,222,022 copies in its first week (initial sales) according to Hanteo Chart, and it showed strength by entering the top 10 of Circle Chart's annual album ranking for 2025 with cumulative shipments of 1,331,733. As they continue their relentless stair-step growth, attention is focused on what new records they will set with this new release.
The new album 'We on Fire' is a work that captures &TEAM's renewed challenge and determination, having grown considerably amid strengthened bonds. It includes a variety of genres such as the title track of the same name, the striking rock sound of 'Bewitched', the lively and addictive 'HOTLINE', and the ballad track 'Sakura-iro Yell' that melts in the warm sentiments of spring. In addition, the album is packed with six tracks in total, including Korean versions of the title track 'We on Fire' and 'Bewitched'.
Meanwhile, proving explosive global power upon release, &TEAM will begin full-scale domestic music show activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' airing today (23rd), where they will meet fans.
