'Childcare Intern' Ahn Jung-hwan understood the difficulties of Lee Ye-rim living as the wife of a soccer player.
On the 23rd episode of tvN STORY's 'Childcare Intern,' Ahn Jung-hwan and Lee Ye-rim met. Seeing Lee Ye-rim, who was very unfamiliar with and struggled with children, he asked, "Can you do childcare? You will, right? Do you have a plan?" Lee Ye-rim said, "I can't do it," adding, "I think we should (plan for children), but I keep putting it off."
Lee Ye-rim seemed worried about who would take care of the child if she gave birth. Ahn Jung-hwan said, "You'll have to take care of them yourself. A husband can't carry a child on his back and kick a ball," and added, "I couldn't take care of my kids much when they were young either." Ahn Jung-hwan said, "You have to take care of them yourself. Living as the wife of an athlete isn't easy, right? You have to adjust to everything." Lee Ye-rim replied, "I'm also stubborn about one thing, but my husband is really obsessive about his routine," and added, "This time my husband hasn't been starting often, so I'm more self-conscious about that than whether he wins or loses."
Then, after hearing her husband's age, Ahn Jung-hwan said, "Retirement isn't far off. Praise him a lot. When he retires he'll do housework and things like that," encouraging Lee Ye-rim.
