"Trend" actor Kim Jaewon is expected to capture women's hearts again with Yumi's Cells 3 and Gungeneun Gaekkoci Sanda.
On the 23rd, OSEN exclusively reported news of Kim Jaewon's new drama Gungeneun Gaekkoci Sanda (abbreviated Gung Gaekkot). Kim Jaewon will appear as the male lead, Emperor Eon, in Gung Gaekkot.
Gungeneun Gaekkoci Sanda is a work adapted into a drama from the popular web novel of the same name. The original work was published in 2007 and is a popular web novel known as a palace romance novel, featuring a villainous-type female protagonist and being a representative work of the regretful man.
Thanks to this, the drama is expected to depict a romance between Gye-ri, a concubine called "Gaekkot" who is an unparalleled beauty but is dubbed a wildflower because of her violent personality, and Emperor Eon, a cold and calculating emperor of the fictional East Asian-style nation Eunara who is endlessly cold only to her. Earlier, actress Park Eunbin was offered the title role and female lead, Hyunbi Gye-ri. Kim Jaewon received a love call to play Emperor Eon.
