Kwon Sang-woo joins the second season of "Study Group."
On the 23rd, OSEN reported that Kwon Sang-woo is newly joining the Tving original series "Study Group" season 2.
Kwon Sang-woo plays uncle Jeon Young-ha, who taught fighting skills to his nephew Ga-min (Hwang Min-hyun). He is a character who secretly teaches his nephew without his sister knowing and is even cut off, but he is warm-hearted and listens to Ga-min's worries more than anyone else.
"Study Group" is a comic high school action piece in which Yoon Ga-min, who wants to study well but is all talent in fighting, forms a study group as he jumps into the bloody college entrance competition at the worst delinquent school; season 1 was released in 2025. Bolstered by enthusiastic response, production of "Study Group" season 2 was confirmed, and principal photography began in earnest last month.
This season draws attention as the original icon of school-themed films, Kwon Sang-woo, newly joins. Since his debut, Kwon Sang-woo has appeared in "Same-age tutoring," "A Bloody Aria (Maljukgeori Janhoksa)," and "Youth Comic," earning great popularity among students.
Expectations are rising for the fresh image that Kwon Sang-woo, the star of the original school uniform action film "A Bloody Aria (Maljukgeori Janhoksa)," will show by joining "Study Group 2."
