Wonhundred said MC MONG is not involved in Cha Ga-won's sale of the building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam.
On the 23rd, Wonhundred said, "We inform you regarding the building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, owned by The Mu Co., Ltd., which was reported yesterday. The building is a corporate property of Cha Ga-won, and it has nothing to do with MC MONG," in an official statement.
Earlier the previous day, it was reported that The Mu, jointly founded by MC MONG and Cha Ga-won, sold a building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, to Ro Hong-chul for 15.2 billion won.
The Mu had purchased the building from Kang Ho-dong for 16.6 billion won but sold it to Ro Hong-chul after about a year and six months at a loss of 1.4 billion won.
But Wonhundred, headed by Cha Ga-won as CEO, denied that MC MONG was connected to The Mu and emphasized, "The building is a corporate property of Cha Ga-won."
Meanwhile, Wonhundred is currently facing conflicts over allegations of unpaid settlements to artists it represents, such as The Boyz, VV, and EXO-CBX.
