Actor Timothy Chalamet's girlfriend Kylie Jenner has been sued by a former housekeeper.
On the 21st (local time), foreign outlet Page Six reported, "Kylie Jenner has been sued by a housekeeper. The housekeeper claims she was discriminated against and harassed by other employees because of her religion and country of origin."
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Angelica Vasquez began working as a housekeeper at Jenner's home in Beverly Hills, California, in September 2024. Vasquez was moved to Jenner's Hidden Hills residence a week later, where she reported to a senior housekeeper named Patsy and a woman named Elsy.
She alleges that during her employment she received "hostile and exclusionary treatment." The complaint states, "Patsy doubted Vasquez's presence and made her wait with security, making it clear she was not a welcome presence."
Vasquez is a Catholic from El Salvador. She alleged, "I was repeatedly assigned the most difficult and undesirable tasks, excluded from the housekeeping team, publicly belittled and humiliated in front of colleagues because of my race, country of origin and religion, and subjected to threatening and demeaning treatment."
She also said of the defendants, "They repeatedly made derogatory and insulting remarks to demean and intimidate her and to display power," and alleged that her accent was frequently mocked and that she had to take on Patsy's and Elsy's duties as well.
Ultimately, Vasquez developed post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety symptoms due to the hostile work environment and resigned in August last year. She is seeking unpaid wages, damages for emotional distress and punitive damages.
Although the allegations do not directly target Kylie Jenner, she is reportedly included as a defendant because she did not properly address Vasquez's complaints and grievances.
Kylie Jenner is a reality star from the Kardashian family, a businesswoman, celebrity and model. Known as a single mother raising two children who built a successful cosmetics company and is considered a "billionaire," she is also famous as Timothy Chalamet's partner.
