Yoon Hajeong, who charmed viewers as the bold beauty on 'Single's Inferno 3' and will become an October bride, personally shared her thoughts on marrying.
Yoon Hajeong announced on her personal social media on the 21st that she will marry in October. Her surprise wedding announcement drew strong attention after she appeared on the 2023 Netflix original reality dating show 'Single's Inferno 3', where she received praise for her doll-like looks and bold charm. OSEN asked Yoon Hajeong for her personal thoughts.
Born in 1998, Yoon Hajeong is 28 this year. Her relatively early marriage amid recent trends also drew more attention. However, Yoon Hajeong said, "There wasn't a single special moment when I decided to get married. As many good sides accumulated one by one, I think I started to feel, 'I would like to marry this man.'"
Saying, "my boyfriend is so considerate and family-oriented," Yoon Hajeong emphasized, "He takes care of me like a daughter from A to Z. I'm not the kind of person who usually likes to be taken care of, but around my boyfriend I naturally found myself leaning on him. So I became certain that 'if I'm with this person, I can build a comfortable and stable home.'"
In her wedding announcement post, Yoon Hajeong briefly introduced her fiancé as 'someone who has been with me for a long time.' What was their actual love story like? Yoon Hajeong said, "We've been together for about 1,000 days," and added, "He was actually an older brother I had known since my early 20s." She continued, "We weren't extremely close; we would hang out with friends or run into each other occasionally. My fiancé often said from long ago that 'my goal is to date a woman like Hajeong.'"
However, in the past each of them dated other people. Regarding that, Yoon Hajeong said, "To me he didn't feel romantic at all, so even when I heard that I didn't mind and firmly rejected him. At that time he was a bit thin, and after hearing me say 'I'm not into thin men' he was shocked and worked out for a year. After I broke up, I saw him again and he had noticeably bulked up," revealing her fiancé's efforts to win her love.
Yoon Hajeong said, "After that, knowing my situation, he often left snacks or flowers at my doorstep and sincerely expressed his feelings, asking me to trust him and meet him just once. As those gestures piled up, my heart opened and we eventually got together," expressing excitement about their 1,000-day relationship.
