Doubts and the flowers of conflict bloom in the healing-filled "Sim Um-myeon Yeonliri."
On the 23rd, KBS2 miniseries "Sim Um-myeon Yeonliri" (written by Song Jeong-rim and Wang Hye-ji, directed by Choi Yeon-su) will depict a tense standoff between the families of Seong Tae-hoon (Park Sung-woong) and Im Ju-hyeong (Lee Seo-Hwan).
While preparing cabbage seedlings to send to the company "Matstory," Seong Tae-hoon bumps into village head Im Ju-hyeong, who picks fights over every little thing. Whether aware of the fathers' power struggle or not, Seong Tae-hoon's son Seong Ji-chan (Lee Jinwoo) and Im Ju-hyeong's daughter Chim Bo-mi (Choi Gyu-ri) grow closer to each other.
As the two families become more intricately entangled, the conflict between Seong Tae-hoon and Im Ju-hyeong deepens. Seong Tae-hoon screams as he sees the trampled cabbage field and points to Im Ju-hyeong as the culprit.
It is not over. Seong Tae-hoon's wife Jo Mi-ryeo (Lee Soo-kyung) and Im Ju-hyeong's wife Nam Hye-sun (Nam Kwon-ah) also clash. After the fathers, the mothers join in—attention turns to how the full-scale confrontation between the two families will unfold.
