Singer Seo In Young shared news that she disposed of all her luxury handbags.
On the 22nd, tvN's You Quiz on the Block official channel uploaded a pre-release video titled "From a bank balance of 10 billion won to 0 won? Seo In Young's reformation story reflecting on a past without a sense of money."
That day Yu Jae-seok mentioned that Seo In Young recently launched a YouTube channel and asked, "In Young has returned to YouTube as 'Gae Gwacheonseon Seo In Young' — do you like it, the name 'Gae Gwacheonseon'?"
Seo In Young snapped back, "Who would like that? Do you? 'Yu Jae-seok's Gae Gwacheonseon' — would that be good? No. Anyone would dislike that," drawing laughter with her irritation.
In response Yu Jae-seok asked, "I heard you sold all but two bags," because Seo In Young had revealed on YouTube that she had disposed of most of her luxury items. At the time she honestly confessed, "There were really a lot, but I sold them all. I had Hermès in different colors," and added, "I wanted to get rid of them all. And I needed money." She then showed the single Chanel and Hermès bags she had left and said, "I'm over 40, so shouldn't I have at least one of each? If needed, I'll sell these too," even asking the production staff, "Do you want to buy them?"
Meanwhile, when Yu Jae-seok asked about disposing of the luxury bags, she agreed, "Yes," and tried to sell to Yu Jae-seok as well, asking, "Do you want to buy them?" which provoked laughter. She appealed, mentioning Yu Jae-seok's wife Na Kyung-eun, saying, "Your wife might need them. Call her," and added, "They're really fine, the condition is A-grade," prompting uproarious laughter.
Seo In Young recalled the time when her 2008 solo song "Cinderella" was a huge hit: "I was really busy. I didn't even try on clothes, just said 'from here to here.' My father handled the money.
