The group &TEAM is showcasing global firepower. With its third Japanese mini album surpassing the 1 million copies mark on the first day of release, it achieved the remarkable record of being a three-time consecutive million seller.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 22nd, &TEAM (Eui-ju, Huma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki)'s new album "We on Fire" sold 1,090,261 copies on its release day, the 21st, topping the daily album chart. With this, &TEAM solidified its position as a "global powerhouse" by producing three consecutive million sellers following the Japanese single "Go in Blind" and the Korean mini album Back to Life.
In particular, &TEAM holds the distinctive title of being the first Japanese artist to record million-seller status in both Korea and Japan, making this achievement even more valuable. They have already conquered major overseas charts such as Billboard in the United States and the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), and received praise from Forbes as "the most noteworthy group right now," further solidifying their influence.
Alongside dominating the album charts, offline enthusiasm was also intense. &TEAM held a fan showcase on the 21st at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk District, Seoul, meeting domestic fans in person. At the event they showcased strengthened teamwork and overwhelming stage presence with the title track "We on Fire" as well as "Bewitched" and "Sakura-iro Yell."
At the showcase, the members said, "We are happy to have a good start. We will work harder to show you a great side," and added, "From now on we will officially begin activities in Korea. We will be &TEAM that never stops growing."
Riding the momentum, &TEAM will not only appear on domestic music shows but will also embark on the Asia tour "2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR 'BLAZE THE WAY'" covering 11 cities. They are scheduled to reunite with Korean fans at Incheon Inspire Arena on July 4-5. The much larger venue size compared to last year's Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium concerts reflects how rapidly they have grown in a year.
