Group Blackpink member Jisoo dismissed controversy over her family's private life and left the country for scheduled commitments.
Jisoo departed for Paris, France, via Incheon International Airport on the 22nd. Jisoo is scheduled to receive the "Madame Figaro Rising Star" award at the Cannes International Series Festival in Cannes, France, on the 23rd.
Jisoo's appearance in front of cameras was the first since she dismissed the controversy over her family's private life. Earlier, Jisoo's side said, "We express our serious regret that the artist and Blissu are being associated with the family-related matters of an artist affiliated with Blissu, which have been spreading through some press reports, online communities and SNS, and that acts that damage reputations based on untrue information are being carried out indiscriminately."

We hereby sternly warn that we will immediately take all civil and criminal legal measures possible against acts of spreading false information and writing or distributing defamatory posts, using the artist's name, likeness or image in unrelated matters, and turning speculative content into articles or content without fact-checking."
