The group's career-high march has begun for NCT WISH, who returned with their first full-length album.
NCT WISH released their first full-length album Ode to Love and made a comeback on the 20th.
They proved their upward momentum by breaking their own records as soon as they returned. The title track "Ode to Love" ranked No. 3 on Melon Top 100 and No. 1 on Hot 100 by peak position on the day of release. It was a new personal best for NCT WISH on that chart.
In addition, NCT WISH recorded first-day sales of 1,285,184 copies for Ode to Love on the Hanteo Chart, achieving million-seller status. This was also their shortest-record time to reach that figure and the third million-seller in the team's history.
Overseas popularity is also on the rise. SM Entertainment said, "NCT WISH topped major domestic album charts on daily rankings including the Hanteo Chart, YES24, and Circle Chart retail album chart, and ranked No. 1 on QQ Music's digital album sales chart, receiving the 'double gold' certification awarded for sales exceeding 500,000 yuan. They ranked No. 1 on the integrated K-pop chart across five music platforms under Tencent Music in China, No. 2 on Kugou Music's digital album sales chart, No. 1 on Japan's AWA real-time rising chart and No. 2 on Line Music's real-time album ranking," the company said.
