Close Your Eyes(Jeon Min-wook, Mazingsiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Seong-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, Seo Gyeong-bae) will release their new digital single 'Overexposed (OVEREXPOSED)' at 6 p.m. on the 21st on various online music sites.
This new release 'Overexposed' is an album that takes the phenomenon of 'overexposure,' in which an image is washed out to white by excessive light, as its motif. It contains the seven boys' narrative of proving their existence in the clearest way possible even in any fleeting crisis or moment. They strengthened and expanded the team's unique worldview through a sensual concept that crosses the boundary between reality and unreality.
The title track 'Pose (POSE)' is a track that reinterprets the energy characteristic of the Brazilian baile funk genre and the 2000s hip-hop sound with a modern sensibility. Through the dynamic message 'let's leave this moment as the coolest pose,' it sings of the preciousness of the fleeting moment.
The included 'What If I Miss Love? (What If I Miss Love?)' unravels, over a dreamy and vintage R&B sound, the anxiety and longing that paradoxically bloom at the moment when love shines most brilliantly, with delicate emotional lines.
In particular, this album marks a remarkable leap as a 'self-producing idol' by significantly increasing the members' participation in the album. Members Jeon Min-wook and Jang Yeo-jun directly participated in the lyrics for all the included songs, authentically completing the team's narrative and emotional lines, and Kenshin contributed to creating the choreography for the title track 'Pose,' producing a tailored performance unique to Close Your Eyes.
