YouTuber Kim Seon-tae laid bare everything in a Simmons bedding collaboration video, from donation controversy to candid thoughts about money. His unvarnished remarks about reality and his characteristic blunt speaking style are once again drawing attention.
On the 21st, a video titled 'Simmons bedding promotion' was posted on Kim Seon-tae's YouTube channel.
That day, Kim Seon-tae directly explained everything from the reason for collaborating with the bed brand to plans for using the revenue.
First, he said he would donate the bed and mattress worth about 20 million won he received through the collaboration to neighbors in need. Kim Seon-tae said, "I plan to donate beds and mattresses worth more than 20 million won," and added, "Simmons also contributed more."
But what followed was unexpected. Kim Seon-tae candidly said, "The bigger reason is actually to make money. I have to make money to be able to donate." He added, "I'm not buying things to donate. I want to live well. Donation is secondary," not hiding his realistic motives.
He also addressed various perceptions surrounding him recently. Kim Seon-tae said, "People ask if the numbers are right, how much I earned, whether I earned a lot, and I earned a lot."
