Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Donghae met singer Brian.

That day, Eunhyuk and Donghae went to Brian's house in Pyeongtaek and had a conversation. Sitting opposite each other at the home bar Brian built and spending time, they happened to recall the time of the 2002 World Cup.
Brian recalled that when he first heard Fly to the Sky's song "Sea of love," he didn't like it much, saying "Hwanhee and I pursued R&B hip-hop, but 'Sea of love' was pop."
However, because Brown Eyes' "Already One Year" was a hit at the time, they accepted the mood. Brian added, "The timing was good. It became one of the World Cup songs," saying that it was right.
Upon hearing this, Donghae said, "You must have been happy then. I was going to debut with a team called 'Smile' at the time, but the World Cup blew up and it fell through," drawing sympathy.
In response to Brian's question about what the team name 'Smile' meant, Eunhyuk said, "It just meant a bright team," and naturally added, "I still don't know what Super Junior means."
Eunhyuk recalled, "Just before debut we went on a full workshop. It was 2 Days & 1 Night. We prepared a performance and showed it in front of the staff. (Lee Soo-man) saw it and said, 'You guys aren't juniors, you're super. Super Junior,' and that's how it became."
Brian sympathized, saying, "It's the same as Hwanhee. They told me I had to perform the next day, but suddenly the day before I was given the name 'You are now Hwanhee.' It was confusing," adding to the laughter.
