Actress Seo Ji-hye proved she is the queen of genre works with skilled control of pacing.
Seo Ji-hye met viewers through the Wavve original Reverse, released on the 17th. Seo Ji-hye's comeback comes about four months after the Dec. finale of tvN Nice to Not Meet You.
The actress, returning with a new work, portrayed the psychological fractures of a character experiencing amnesia with skilled control of pacing. She vividly brought to life Ham Myo-jin by densely portraying the firm interior hidden beneath a delicate exterior.
In the mystery revenge thriller Reverse, in which Ham Myo-jin (Seo Ji-hye), who lost her memory after being caught in an explosion at a chaebol family villa, regains her memory to learn the truth about her suspicious fiancé Ryu Jun-ho (Go Soo) and the accident, Seo Ji-hye first appears covered in blood as she runs out of the villa.
Her performance shone as she faced the mysterious man attacking her head-on and revealed a strong side that does not easily back down even amid confusion. Seo Ji-hye did not remain merely a victim who lost her memory; her active penetration into the center of the case drove taut tension and heralded the arrival of a new mystery thriller.
