Actor Gong Myoung shows off his 'straightforward guy' charm through 'Secret Audit'.
On the afternoon of the 20th, tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Secret Audit' held a production presentation online. Director Lee Suhyun, actors Shin Hae-sun, Gong Myoung, Kim Jae Wook and Hong Hwa-yeon attended the presentation and talked.
'Secret Audit' is a tense close-contact audit romance between charismatic audit chief Ju In-a (Shin Hae-sun), who keeps secret secrets, and No Gi-jun (Gong Myoung), the audit office ace who was demoted to the role of internal misconduct (PM) investigator.
In the drama Gong Myoung plays No Gi-jun, the audit office ace who becomes the company's internal misconduct sniper as 'Ju In-a's pick'. He said, I felt from the first time I met Gi-jun that he was a guy with manly charm. So I wanted to do it even more. I chose 'Secret Audit' because of actress Shin Hae-sun. Earlier she said she wanted to do a bright, light romantic comedy, and I thought that working with Shin Hae-sun in that area would be more fun and create definite synergy, and that viewers would enjoy watching it, so I decided to do the project. He explained his reason for appearing.
When asked what new aspects he would show through 'Secret Audit', Gong Myoung said, As you might expect, I think I can also show a comedic side in a fun way, and I prepared hard so viewers can feel 'Gong Myoung is manly.' Please look forward to it. However, when asked if he was a 'tetoman' he honestly confessed, But actually I think it's someone who wants to pretend to be a tetoman, which got laughs. Director Lee Suhyun described the romance points between Shin Hae-sun and Gong Myoung, saying, I read with the actors and talked in the early stages. Parts 1 to 4 feel like In-a is leading, and parts 5 to 8 feel like Gi-jun is leading. It's not simply about who confesses when, but the direction and attitudes of the two people change. I think it will be good to watch from that perspective. I actually found it interesting how In-a changes from the moment Gi-jun starts to go straight. Even as a viewer, it's a side you haven't seen before. Shin Hae-sun does that so well that it will be fun to watch.
Meanwhile, 'Secret Audit' will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on the 25th.
