The group LE SSERAFIM has grown into a team that notices fear and knows how to move forward.
Debuted on May 2, 2022, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae). Like the group name anagrammed from IM FEARLESS, they have been talking about how to deal with fear.
A consistent narrative since debut proves this. From the starting point, LE SSERAFIM put "no fear" front and center in their debut album FEARLESS, revealing a bold ambition to move forward without wavering. The fearless attitude was regarded as a symbol of the team, along with self-assurance and agency not to be swayed by external views or standards.
On the following mini album ANTIFRAGILE, they emphasized the will to "not collapse under external trials and shocks but rather become stronger through them," delivering a message that went one step further and turning hardship into the driving force for growth while strengthening inner power.
The second full-length album "PUREFLOW" pt. 1, to be released on the 22nd, evolves once more by neither denying fear nor treating it solely as something to be overcome. It regards the process of recognizing and accepting fear itself as part of growth, choosing to move forward and focusing on the power to lift oneself up in that process.
The courage to face weaknesses rather than hide them is seen as LE SSERAFIM's way of confronting fear, cultivating the strength to move forward from within.
