Actor Kim Nam-gil added warmth with a meaningful gesture alongside Seo Kyoung-duk.
On the 20th, Seo Kyoung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, said he teamed up with Kim Nam-gil to donate educational supplies to Milal Special School in New Zealand.
They have steadily donated educational supplies to overseas Korean-language schools in places such as New York in the United States, Vancouver in Canada, Budapest in Hungary and Mexico City in Mexico, and the "Hangeul globalization campaign" donates educational supplies to weekend schools that work to teach Hangeul around the world and to foreigners who run study groups to learn Korean.
Professor Seo Kyoung-duk said, "As K-pop and K-dramas have spread widely around the world, there are more foreigners and overseas Koreans who want to learn Hangeul and Korean, and I wanted to be of some help to their education."
Kim Nam-gil said, "I searched for organizations around the world that are working hard to teach Hangeul and will continue to provide steady support going forward."
