The band Togenashi Togeari (TOGENASHI TOGEARI) from the Japanese animation "Girls Band Cry (GIRLS BAND CRY)" successfully completed their first solo tour to Korea, engaging passionately with domestic fans.
Togenashi Togeari met fans over two days on the 18th and 19th at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul with "TOGENASHI TOGEARI Live in SEOUL "Rinne no Kotowari" (Togenashi Togeari live in Seoul "Rinne no Kotowari").
The concert was originally scheduled for one day on the 18th, but tickets sold out immediately after going on sale, drawing an explosive response. As a result, an additional show was scheduled on the 19th, and both performances proceeded amid intense enthusiasm, demonstrating their popularity in Korea.
Togenashi Togeari filled the stage with a setlist that wove in the narrative of the animation "Girls Band Cry." Starting with the opening song "Zappatsu, our town (踏、僕らの街)," they performed key songs such as "Voiceless fish (なき魚)" and "The rotting sound in a corner of vision (視界の隅 朽ちる音)" with high completion as a band sound, immersing the audience.
Their solid live skills and high-energy performances stood out in particular. With Korean fans' passionate group singing and cheers added, the venue was full of energy the entire time, and the members expressed gratitude in their imperfect Korean, further elevating the atmosphere.
After the concert, Togenashi Togeari said, "This was our first solo concert in Korea, and thanks to the fans who enjoyed it with us with all their energy, we were able to spend two really hot and enjoyable days," adding, "We look forward to the day we meet you again and will continue to work hard, so please keep supporting us until then."
They are a band formed through a girls' rock audition and appeared as the main band in the 2024 animation "Girls Band Cry," creating a phenomenon. Immediately after debut, they were noted as a "monster rookie," placing multiple songs on Spotify's viral charts, and they have expanded their presence on global stages, including a Budokan performance in Japan.
Returning to Korea about a year and a half after appearing at Wonderlivet 2024 (WONDERLIVET 2024), they demonstrated both a deepened fandom and newsworthiness through this solo concert.
Having successfully completed their first solo concert in Korea, Togenashi Togeari plans to accelerate their global activities by continuing various projects such as producing a "Girls Band Cry" feature film and touring Japan.
