Comedian Cho Hye-lyeon delivers a message of support with her new song "To the Eagle."
Cho Hye-lyeon has consistently pursued musical activities, showcasing various genres such as "Anakkana," "Punch of Love," "Banananalala," and "Broken Time Machine," and this time she returns with an upbeat cheering song that anyone can sing along to.
The new song "To the Eagle" is a track that carries the message of awakening a sleeping eagle to make it fly again, and it was planned as a cheering song to give courage to someone weary in their daily life.
In particular, an addictive melody and rhythm are layered with a repeating "Oh!" section, completing the song as one that can be enjoyed together at group cheers or performances. Expectations are rising for its potential as a "national cheering song" that shares energy among everyone beyond individual recovery.
The song also draws attention because it was born from a collaboration with Go Yosep, Cho Hye-lyeon's husband and a lyricist-composer who serves as CEO. Go Yosep is a versatile producer who covers not only popular music but also performance production, and he and Cho Hye-lyeon have been married and business partners for 11 years.
Cho Hye-lyeon said, "When I told my husband, who writes lyrics and composes, that I wanted to sing a cheering song, he completed 'To the Eagle' and played it for me a short time later. I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it," and added, "I hope it becomes a song that can give strength and courage to those who are tired and worn out."
Cho Hye-lyeon, who is active as a "万能 entertainer" across variety shows, music, and theater, draws attention as to what kind of energy she will convey through this new song.
The new song "To the Eagle" will be released on various music streaming sites on the 21st.
