Rapper Minoi reignited the hip-hop scene by releasing a hard-hitting diss track.
On the 19th, Minoi uploaded a video titled "second and last, I hope" to his YouTube channel. It is a sequel-style song following "first and last, I hope," which expressed his feelings after the advertising controversy.
The released song was notable for its intensity from the start. In the intro, he directly mentioned a real name, saying "Won Jae," followed by blunt criticism such as "the lyrics are only this much," "brush your teeth, you smell," and "birds of a feather flock together." At the end, the sound effect of flushing a toilet was added, which is being interpreted as a production choice to mock the target.
Fans quickly spread speculation that this was aimed at Woo Won-jae, who is from the same label, AOMG. Minoi and Woo Won-jae appeared together on the 2022 web content "YoriJori season 3," showing close chemistry, and they were known to be close enough that dating rumors were even mentioned at the time, so this diss track is drawing attention to changes in the relationship between the two.
This diss battle is spreading beyond a simple personal conflict to the broader hip-hop scene. It began with Big Naughty. Big Naughty targeted Swings by raising suspicions over settlement issues and neighboring rights, and Swings responded on a live broadcast, saying "baseless."
Afterward, Giriboy expressed mixed feelings, saying "at the time it was hard to agree," and Noel, while saying "I hope the wasteful fighting stops," voiced support for Swings, adding fuel to the conflict. Yang Hong-won also left a meaningful remark, and there is even talk of possible clashes at performance venues.
In the end, the conflict that started with Big Naughty and Swings has spread to Minoi and Woo Won-jae, and the situation appears to be growing larger.
