Mixed martial artist and broadcaster Kim Dong-hyun drew attention by revealing that his wife is pregnant with their fourth child and that he had a vasectomy.
Recently, a video featuring Kim Dong-hyun grants on the YouTube channel "Roborock Korea" in which he talks about family planning was posted.
In the released video, Kim Dong-hyun surprised those present by confessing, "Actually, there is a fourth."
He added, "Originally I thought three would be enough, but while raising i-dle I thought it would be nice for them to have more siblings."
However, the fourth was said to have been different from the plan. Kim Dong-hyun recalled, "When we prepared it didn't work well, but after I let go of it I suddenly heard about the pregnancy," and said, "I was really surprised when my wife showed me the test."
He also revealed another twist. Kim Dong-hyun said, "Before knowing about the fourth, I was going to have a vasectomy so I wouldn't worry anymore," and said, "I went just for a consultation, but the hospital said it was possible right then, so I did it that day." He added jokingly, "The surgery was over in about 15 minutes."
Earlier, Kim Dong-hyun also mentioned the matter on the tvN variety show "Amazing Saturday." On the broadcast on the 18th, the vasectomy news drew attention after being revealed about two weeks after the news of the fourth pregnancy was made public.
At the time he explained, "I went to just get a consultation and ended up doing it on impulse," and said, "I decided because four seemed like a lot."
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-hyun married a wife who is six years his junior in 2018 and has one son and two daughters, and his wife is currently pregnant with their fourth child.<
