Actors Jung Si-ah and Baek Do-bin revealed a story in which they played an April Fools' prank on their daughter and ended up sobbing.
On the 17th, a video titled "Jeongdong-gil date that started with Jung Si-ah's semi-forced (?) idea. Today we'll pick an SNS life shot (+ April Fools' third story)" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Jung Si-ah A-sijeong.'
That day, Jung Si-ah went on a Jeongdong-gil date with her husband Baek Do-bin. While ordering at a cafe and waiting for coffee, Jung Si-ah began to talk about the prank she played on her daughter Seo-woo, saying, "It was April Fools' Day."
Jung Si-ah said, "I told Seo-woo she had a younger sibling, and she bawled her eyes out in Seoul. She said she hated it so much," adding, "What was funnier was, 'At that age?'" She then released an audio recording of Seo-woo's reaction.
In the recording, Seo-woo said, "I'm happy as I am now. You really have a younger sibling? Really? At my age? Isn't that something that comes from the Bible?" and continued, "You're not lying, and you're filming YouTube now? Then I won't get love. A second child won't get love. So I said I would hate it if a third came, but I'm doomed," speaking in a tearful voice. She then appeared to burst into tears.
Baek Do-bin laughed about his daughter's reaction, saying, "I didn't expect her to be so flustered, but it's cute."
Jung Si-ah commented on her daughter's reaction, saying, "She said she could somewhat understand her older brother's feelings. She understood how hard it must have been when a younger sibling arrived. She understood her brother's feelings. It was a good prank."
Baek Do-bin and Jung Si-ah married in 2009, and that year they welcomed their first son. They later had a second daughter in 2012 and have one son and one daughter.
