'Pinggego' 인기 스핀오프 시리즈 'Punghyanggo'의 다음 여행으로 국내여행 'Punghyangjung'이 거론됐다.
On the 18th the YouTube channel 'Tteuntteun' released a new 'Pinggego' episode titled 'Punghyanggo2 aftermath is Pinggego.' The video shows Yu Jae-seok, Jee Seokjin, Lee Sung-min and Yang Se-chan, who were together on the earlier 'Punghyanggo2,' gathering again to share stories about their Austria and Hungary trip six months after filming.
The 'Punghyanggo' series, across seasons 1 and 2, has received hot love approaching 100 million views. Buoyed by that, fans hoping for season 3 reacted enthusiastically. But recent wars involving the U.S., Israel and Iran have sent oil prices and exchange rates soaring, making overseas travel difficult.
Yu Jae-seok joked, "Punghyanggo is our unplanned overseas trip, but with plane fares and exchange rates going up so much, going overseas is a bit difficult, so how about Punghyangjung for domestic travel?" Lee Sung-min responded, "Sounds good. I even did a month-long stay in Gangneung. When I went to Gangneung there were really a lot of young people dragging suitcases," reacting enthusiastically.
When Jee Seokjin shot back, "How about Punghyangcho? It's just taking a walk around the neighborhood," Yu Jae-seok laughed and said, "Punghyangdae would be extreme, going to places like the Arctic; Punghyanggo is an unplanned overseas trip; Punghyangjung is an unplanned domestic trip; Punghyangcho would be neighborhood travel. Let's try that."
Lee Sung-min said seriously, "Punghyangjung seems possible. You just come and we tell you where to go. A domestic trip of 2 Days & 1 Night. If we gather that day and tell them to go, wouldn't that be fine?" raising expectations.
Another 'Pinggego' spin-off, 'Kkangchon-cancs,' also advocates domestic travel. Yu Jae-seok said, "'Kkangchon-cancs' is a rural cancation. It was supposed to be in April but Dong-wook's schedule doesn't allow it right now, so we can't go."
Lee Sung-min added, "Try going to my hometown Bonghwa. It's really rural there. It's my hometown," chiming in. Yu Jae-seok said, "Since the economy isn't doing well now, it would be good if we went and spent money freely while filming," further raising expectations.
Yang Se-chan laughed at his elders' remarks, "You say that but you wouldn't actually spend," prompting Jee Seokjin and Yu Jae-seok to retort, "You would spend when it's domestic," and add, "It's because we're shrinking back because of the exchange rate. Domestic is different," making listeners look forward to the birth of the 'Punghyangjung' spin-off of the 'Punghyanggo' spin-off of 'Pinggego.'
