Actress Park Kyung-hye revealed her first solo residence.
On the 17th episode of the MBC entertainment program I Live Alone (abbreviated as "I Live Alone"), the 4-month solo tenant Park Kyung-hye, who found her first solo apartment, appeared and attracted attention.
That day Park Kyung-hye was introduced as a friend of Ku Sung-hwan. She said, "It's my first time living alone and actually the first time I've rented a place. I live in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam District," she explained.
She added, "The floor area is about 6 pyeong, the security deposit is 50 million won, and the monthly rent including maintenance and parking is 590,000 won," and when Code Kunst and Kian84 responded, "It's Yeoksam-dong, so that's really cheap," they said, "A one-room in Gangnam costs about 1.5 million won."
What also drew attention in the relatively cozy home was the sagging ceiling wallpaper and so on. Park Kyung-hye added, "The previous resident didn't manage humidity well, so there were quite a few rusty or moldy spots."
Seeing this, Joy asked, "Isn't this something the landlord should have fixed before the very first move-in?" to which Park Kyung-hye replied, "There were parts I didn't notice when I first moved in."
Park Kyung-hye said, "It was my first time finding a place. When I first viewed the apartment, the previous tenant was there. I thought inspecting the place too closely would be rude, so I couldn't check properly then. After I moved in and mentioned it, they fixed the moldy parts, but some remained. For parts without functional problems, I think I have to manage them well myself."
Then Kian84 frankly asked, "That might be an impertinent question. You've done a lot of work; couldn't you go to a slightly bigger place?" Park Kyung-hye confessed, "That was the budget I had. When I tried to live independently, I found a place where I wouldn't be under financial pressure."
Later Park Kyung-hye said, "If I make my space, I wanted to put a bunk bed," and drew attention as she installed a bunk bed. Park Kyung-hye engaged in constant small talk with the technician, and Park Ji-hyun said, "Didn't I used to be an air-conditioner installation technician? But that kind of customer is the most burdensome," which brought laughter.
Meanwhile Park Kyung-hye said, "I'm not interested in makeup and I'm not good at it. Hyeri packs a lot of cosmetics for me," and added, "I went to Hyeri's place today and dressed up nicely. She lent me a jacket and a watch," drawing interest.
