Hollywood actress Natalie Portman personally announced that she is pregnant. After her divorce, she is expecting her first child with new partner Thangy Destable.
On the 17th, U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six reported that Portman recently officially confirmed the pregnancy in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, saying, "Thangy and I are very happy and excited." She went on to say, "This is a privilege and a miracle. I am simply grateful," expressing her overwhelming feelings.
She especially revealed, "Because my father was an infertility specialist, I grew up hearing a lot about how difficult it can be to get pregnant," and added, "Many people around me have gone through hard times, so I feel this joy more cautiously and gratefully."
Portman, who is currently pregnant, said she has more energy than expected and that "I am cherishing every moment. It may be my last pregnancy." She added, "This time I am much calmer. I have come to know well who I want to spend time with and what kind of energy I want around me."
Portman was recently spotted on the streets of Paris, France, publicly revealing her baby bump for the first time. She hid her belly with an oversized coat, but the noticeable bump drew attention.
Meanwhile, Portman has two children with her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied. The two married in 2012 and have a son, Aleph (14), and a daughter, Amalia (9). However, when allegations of Millepied's affair surfaced in 2023, Portman filed for divorce, and the separation process was officially completed in February 2024.
Afterward, Portman was linked romantically to French musician Thangy Destable in March last year. The relationship first became known when photos of the two on a walk were released, and it was reported that they quietly continued their relationship.
