The group's TWS "today's fortune" individual episode was released.
TWS (Shin Yu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) posted the Youngjae episode of the track sampler "today's fortune" for the mini 5th album "NO TRAGEDY" on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel at 12 a.m. today (18). This series, which shows members attempting luck-improving methods against a fortune, wittily captures the members' charms and the new song's melody, earning fans' positive responses.
Youngjae inventively interprets the suggested luck tip of "eating cotton candy." The quirky sight of him sprinkling sugar into a washing machine to make cotton candy himself draws attention. Youngjae's sweet visuals appearing among a huge pile of cotton candy bursting out inside the machine deliver excitement to viewers.
Through the "today's fortune" series, TWS cheerfully conveyed the message of the new album "NO TRAGEDY," that they will not be cowed by fate and will complete a new story themselves. They sprayed dog perfume to create a "puppy commotion," boiled beef bone soup using a teddy bear, and found ways to invite luck with their own inventive methods and humor, offering positive energy.
The six videos released so far also included parts of the melodies of the six songs featured on "NO TRAGEDY," drawing attention. A variety of styles were previewed, raising expectations, from soft, buoyant house sounds to boom-bap hip-hop characterized by intense beats, and easy-listening melodies that highlight TWS's distinctive freshness.
Meanwhile, TWS will appear on KBS2's "Immortal Songs" in the Yoon Il-sang episode today (18) to recreate hit performances that transcend genres and generations.
Promotion for the new release continues. The final "today's fortune" content will be released tomorrow (19), followed by the track list on the 20th, the highlight medley on the 22nd, and two official teasers on the 23rd–24th. The songs and the title track music video from the mini 5th album "NO TRAGEDY" will be unveiled at 6 p.m. on the 27th.
