HYBE-Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE (KATSEYE) achieved a personal best on the U.K. Official Singles Chart with their new song "PINKY UP."
According to the latest U.K. Official Singles Chart (April 17-23) released on the 18th (local time), PINKY UP rose to No. 14. This is the best performance on that chart among all songs KATSEYE has released.
Their previous single Internet Girl peaked at No. 24 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart, and Gabriela, released in June last year, reached No. 38. Alongside the U.S. Billboard charts, the U.K. Official Charts are considered one of the two major global music charts, and KATSEYE is showing a clear upward trajectory.
They are also strong on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify. PINKY UP ranked No. 18 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global (April 10-16), compiled on the same day. It was the highest-ranked new entry this week. On the Weekly Top Songs USA (April 10-16), it sat at No. 14, suggesting a jump into the top tier.
The popularity of their previous hits continues. Gabriela ranked No. 90 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global for the same period, marking its 43rd cumulative week on the chart. This song, notable for its Latin sensibility and member Daniela's Spanish part, continues to receive steady love from music fans around the world despite being released 10 months ago.
PINKY UP is an energetic song that blends intense percussion and bass with dazzling synth sounds. The lyrics carry a message of immersing oneself in the moment and moving forward with confidence. The music video, which visually expresses this, has been ranked No. 1 on YouTube Trending Music (United States) for eight consecutive days, receiving strong responses.
KATSEYE is a group that debuted in the United States in August 2024 based on the "K-pop methodology" under HYBE's "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy led by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk. In less than two years since debut, they were nominated for the 68th Grammy Awards and the 2026 American Music Awards, and they are expected to release their third EP, WILD, this August.
