The group DXTEEN and dancer Kyoka will take the stage at 'ASEA 2026.'
The 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 (ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS, hereinafter "ASEA 2026") will be held May 16 and 17 at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and DXTEEN and Kyoka will appear on the first day (16th).
DXTEEN (Okubo Naru, Tanaka Shotaro, Taniguchi Taichi, Terao Koshin, Hiramoto Ken, Fukuda Ayuta) is a global boy group formed through the survival audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN. Since their official debut in May 2023, they have been growing in keeping with their name, which means 'youth (TEEN) repeatedly expanding (eXtension) and extending (eXpand) toward a dream (Dream)'.
Six months after debut, in November 2023 DXTEEN won the Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group award at the MTV VMAJ 2023 Pre-Show, and their sixth single "片想い" (Ryoukata Omoi) recently reached 100 million total digital streams. In January this year they successfully held their first arena concert, the group's biggest challenge to date, "2026 DXTEEN ARENA LIVE ～FULL OUT!～" at Tokyo Ariake Arena.
Kyoka is a global dancer beloved by fans worldwide beyond Korea and Japan for her overwhelming dance skills and irreplaceable charm. Kyoka, who started dancing at age 8, moves fluidly across various genres including hip-hop street, popping, house, locking, waacking and krump. She won major international competitions such as JUSTE DEBOUT in 2016 and World Dance Colosseum (WDC) in 2019 and 2024.
She also has high recognition domestically. After Kyoka appeared on Mnet's World of Street Woman Fighter, she rose to No. 2 on the non-drama entertainer popularity ranking released by Good Data Corporation last year.
ASEA, launched in 2024, has established itself as a global awards ceremony that selects artists who have exerted influence not only in Asia but worldwide, honors them and showcases high-quality performances. This year, top-class artists who achieved meaningful results over the past year will participate in large numbers and put on spectacular stages.
On the first day, the MCs will be Monsta X's Hyungwon and IVE's Ray, and &TEAM, CANDY TUNE, CUTIE STREET, DXTEEN, ENHYPEN, FRUITS ZIPPER, IDID, Kimura Misa, KYOKA, SWEET STEADY and VVUP will perform (above in ABC order). Actors Lee Jun-ho and Go Youn-jung will also attend to brighten the event.
On the 17th, hosted by actor Lee Sung-kyoung and a K-pop top star not yet revealed, ATEEZ, Hearts2Hearts, Ikuta Touma, Kwon Eun-bi, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, WONHO and xikers are on the lineup. Actor Lee Chae-min will also participate.
ASEA 2026 is hosted by Newsen, Korea's leading entertainment and sports media marking its 21st anniversary this year, and @style, the star and style magazine marking its 14th anniversary, and organized by the ASEA organizing committee.
ASEA 2026 will sequentially announce the artist lineup, award categories and judging criteria on its official website, drawing attention.
