Comedian Cho Sae-ho became the only person with a schedule on the variety show Screwballs after leaving multiple programs following allegations of ties to organized crime.
In the Netflix variety show Screwballs: The Rival, due to be released on the 19th (hereinafter Screwballs 4), Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Cho Sae-ho, Joo Woo-jae and Jang Wooyoung head off to the "Dora senior college MT" to defy the years. During the recording, Cho Sae-ho said, "When I wake up in the morning, what I have left is time. I exercise every day," revealing the relaxed daily routine that recently forced him to transform into a muscular man.
Cho Sae-ho withdrew from several programs, including KBS 2TV's 1 Night 2 Days and cable channel tvN's You Quiz on the Block, amid allegations of involvement with organized crime.
After pausing activities for a while and returning through Screwballs 4 in February, Cho Sae-ho said, "From now on, I will be more careful in my relationships as I live my life. I want to apologize for causing concern. Because I was careless about relationships, this time made me think a lot as well."
Since then, Cho Sae-ho has been providing laughs with self-deprecating jokes on Screwballs 4. In last month's episode, "Strongest high school girl contest," they held a class president election, and Cho Sae-ho said, "Compared with you, I relatively have more time," adding, "I can take care of personal tasks like banking or household chores for you. I can accept deliveries and pick up phone calls at any time now," attracting attention.
When asked, "Can you do substitute driving at night?" Cho Sae-ho also replied, "I can definitely do that. If you call me, I will come running no matter what."
In the "battle of the vocal gods" episode he said, "I don't know how this will sound, but I am concentrating on this one thing right now. I spent time with my wife and had various hobbies, and I talked to the producer almost eight days a week. To the point my wife could misunderstand. Time wouldn't pass, so I am learning guitar," he said. He also noted that the extra free time after suspending activities made him more leisurely than before.
In last month's Screwballs vs. Single's Inferno episode, with Choi Min-a-su, Song Seung-il and Kim Go-eun from Single's Inferno appearing, the producer said, "We have a tip about Cho Sae-ho; if he could just step two paces back, the group shot would look prettier." Cho Sae-ho responded, "At this rate I will fall into the water," showing a sensitive reaction to falling. Joo Woo-jae said, "You have to understand. If the camera goes off today, you can't meet again for a month. So you have to understand."
Cho Sae-ho said, "Today is Feb. 23. I can look at the camera exactly on March 23," and Jang Wooyoung said, "I only have this schedule once a month, so that's why," eliciting sympathy.
