Actors Jung Yumi, Park Seo Jun, and Choi Wooshik reunite for a new season of "Youth Over Flowers."
On the 17th, tvN released teaser and other pre-release videos for the new variety show "Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition" (abbreviated Youth Over Flowers), which will premiere on May 3.
"Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition" is a travel variety show that captures the domestic wandering journey of Jung Yumi, Park Seo Jun, and Choi Wooshik, whose hardship is guaranteed as they face situations where they do not know where they will go today, where they will sleep, or how they will move. As a new season of the much-loved "Youth Over Flowers," it raises expectations as it reunites Jung Yumi, Park Seo Jun, and Choi Wooshik with producer Na Young-seok's team, who worked together on "Youn's Kitchen" and Jinny's Kitchen.
Because the "Youth Over Flowers" series traditionally begins like a hidden-camera surprise without prior notice, this "Limited Edition" also began with what was called a kidnapping but read as an impromptu trip. Accordingly, the production team has been releasing teaser videos of the three actors' travels as they transferred to Gyeongsang Province, Jeolla Province, and Jeju Island starting on the 15th.
The first released video showed the three actors leaving for Gyeongsang Province. Sitting side by side on the subway and silently focused on their own phones, the trio scrambled in a comical way at Park Seo Jun's shout of "I have to get off!"
In an additional teaser that was released afterward, the sight of the three actors sharing a single 2L bottle of water hinted at the extreme nature of their trip. Adding to curiosity about the trip to Jeolla Province was Choi Wooshik carrying luggage to the point that his fingers turned purple.
Finally, the video released today (the 17th) showed the three actors in Jeju Island. In particular, Park Seo Jun amused viewers by asking a store clerk "the black pork restaurant that BTS's V went to." The extreme domestic trip of Jung Yumi, Park Seo Jun, and Choi Wooshik is drawing even more curiosity.
