Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' singer Hyomin prepared a heartfelt orange-hued dining spread for restaurant industry adviser No Hee-young, known as the "Midas touch".
On the 17th, the KBS2 entertainment Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereinafter 'Fun-Staurant') aired, in which planning fairy Hyomin invited close friend No Hee-young to her newlywed home and had an honest conversation.
True to her nickname 'planning fairy', Hyomin presented an elaborate course meal including Dongpoyuk, Jeju cutlassfish dishes, and tofu pumpkin soup based on a meticulous recipe that even considered color points.
About the Dongpoyuk, No Hee-young coolly commented, "It should be more tender than this." Watching from the studio, Chinese cuisine master Lee Yeon-bok also said, "Dongpoyuk is characterized by meat so tender it is hard to pick up with chopsticks," and added professional advice that the authentic recipe requires simmering in the seasoning sauce for more than four hours.
Tasting the cutlassfish that had been brought directly from Jeju and even shown being disassembled, No Hee-young exclaimed, "It's delicious? Cutlassfish usually has a fishy smell no matter what, but there's none at all," praising Hyomin's skill. After tasting the tofu pumpkin soup, she continued to compliment its savory taste, saying, "Mm, it's good."
When Hyomin cautiously asked, "Do you think the kids would eat this without resistance?", No Hee-young drew attention by asking, "It would be great as baby food too. Are you pregnant by any chance?" Faced with No Hee-young's unexpected "pregnancy question," Hyomin could not hide her embarrassment and shook her head desperately.<
