Gemstone E&M officially announced on the 17th, "We have begun production on a new reality music project, 'FIVE GUYS 81.' Filming will begin in May and it will be released through global platforms."
"FIVE GUYS 81" is a project that documents the process of first-generation legendary singers, who laid the foundation of K-pop, coming together to become a super vocal group aimed at the global market.
The production team urged anticipation, saying, "The first-generation legends will meet new K-pop trends and show limitless musical challenges and authentic narratives."
A Gemstone E&M official said, "'FIVE GUYS 81' is an unprecedented global super vocal project that connects K-pop's past, present and future," and added, "We will deploy our content production capabilities and IP business know-how to present a global group that will captivate music fans around the world."
