'Perfect Crown' Byeon Woo-seok kissed IU.
On the 17th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown, episode 3 depicted IAAN Grand Prince (played by Byeon Woo-seok) accepting Sung Hee-joo's (played by IU) marriage proposal.
Earlier, Sung Hee-joo had proposed to the IAAN Grand Prince. The IAAN Grand Prince said, "Prepare to become the grand princess consort. Your opponent will be the entire country," as he accepted, and added, "But first, shall we see your junior's ability? Move public opinion first. The royal family will keep silent."
Sung Hee-joo scoffed, "What else should I say?" Afterwards, the two became the focus of attention while receiving the spotlight.
As the scandal unfolded, Sung Hee-joo was targeted with egg attacks by IAAN Grand Prince fans. In response, the IAAN Grand Prince took Sung Hee-joo to his private residence.
However, Sung Hee-joo was suspected by Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon) as the prime suspect in the Jungwhajeon fire incident and was subjected to investigation. In the meantime, Sung Hee-joo's secretary Do Hye-jung (played by Lee Yeon) went to the IAAN Grand Prince, who was performing ancestral rites at Jongmyo, to ask for help.
Just before Sung Hee-joo was about to be taken away, the IAAN Grand Prince appeared and demanded, "What is this about? Without the king's approval or my approval?" At that moment Yoon Yi-rang retorted, "I permitted it. There is a strong suspect in the Tanilyeon fire incident. I said there is also concern about evidence destruction and flight. But I didn't expect you to be here either."
When asked if she had evidence, Yoon Yi-rang recited Sung Hee-joo's actions at Tanilyeon, saying, "They said she was absent from the scene at the time of the incident." When the IAAN Grand Prince asked, "Could such a thing be proof?" Yoon Yi-rang said, "But it can cause a stain. Either that woman or that woman's company."
Then the IAAN Grand Prince said, "Investigate me too. You know that all circumstances that make people suspect this person also apply to me," and he carried the apparently fainted Sung Hee-joo and left the scene.
Meanwhile, freed from danger, Sung Hee-joo decided to secretly meet the IAAN Grand Prince late at night to enjoy a tryst. He climbed onto the chair and said, "We must do this much to make each other madly in love," and gifted tea and magnesium supplements.
At that moment the IAAN Grand Prince grabbed Sung Hee-joo's face. When Sung Hee-joo asked, "What are you doing?" the IAAN Grand Prince said, "Stay still," and kissed her.
