Singer Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon returned to their daily lives after experiencing a family bereavement.
On the 16th, several photos were posted on the official channel of the yoga studio operated by Lee Hyori without any accompanying comment.
The released photos captured ordinary daily scenes at the yoga studio. Among the people quietly practicing was Lee Hyori, who returned after her father's funeral.
Lee Hyori was seen stretching before class in comfortable attire. She was also photographed enjoying a leisurely moment in front of a sunlit window.
Earlier, Lee Hyori lost her father on the 12th. Her father, the late Lee Jung-kwang, passed away after a battle with illness, and Lee Hyori, together with her husband Lee Sang Soon, were listed as the bereavement hosts and spent her father's final moments together.
As a result, her husband Lee Sang Soon briefly took a break from his daily radio program, 'A perfect day, this is Lee Sang Soon.' He hosted the radio show himself until the 12th, but on the 13th and 14th fellow singer Thomas Cook filled in as DJ.
Returning to the DJ booth after three days, Lee Sang Soon calmly hosted the broadcast and asked, "I was away for two days. Have you been well?" He expressed gratitude, saying, "While I was gone, Thomas Cook calmly did very well. But I was too distracted to listen. If I have time I'll listen to the replay."
Lee Sang Soon added, "It felt strange not being at the station at 4 o'clock. My absence, though brief, must have felt awkward, but knowing Thomas Cook introduced good songs with a calm, pleasant voice put me at ease and allowed me to take care of my affairs," and said of his return, "It was the first time I took two days off, and standing in front of the console feels good. I'm glad to be back in my place."
Meanwhile, after marrying singer Lee Sang Soon in 2013, Lee Hyori lived on Jeju Island for about 11 years. The two moved to Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno District, Seoul in the second half of 2024, and Lee Hyori opened a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul the following year and is currently teaching classes there.
