With the final choice on 'My Child's Love 2' approaching, emotions diverged between Jo Eun-byeol and Woo Seo-yoon in the 1:1 voluntary date application.
On the 15th episode of tvN STORY's 'My Child's Love 2,' there was a late-night unlimited date challenge before the selection. It was that the unlimited date opportunity would be given to the one person who sent a text first at 11:30 p.m. Jo Eun-byeol, upon receiving the notification text, failed to check the time and wrote Shin Jae-hyuk's name and was eliminated, and Yoon Hoo and Choi Yoo-bin lost out in the first-come, first-served race. Woo Seo-yoon also expected to get it but was likewise pushed out.

Then the winner of the unlimited date appeared. It was Shin Jae-hyuk. Shin Tae-yong, Shin Jae-hyuk's father and coach, cheered, "Shin Jae-hyuk's position is right wing. It felt frustrating at first, but he goes in with a hook," and celebrated the achievement. Shin Jae-hyuk and Jo Eun-byeol left for a pension for just the two of them in an excited atmosphere.
Woo Seo-yoon, who remained at the lodging, felt conflicted. Woo Seo-yoon said, "Eun-byeol was ahead. But I sent it late because my feelings were unsettled, and I regretted it." The next morning, before the final choice during the 1:1 handwritten date application, Woo Seo-yoon wrote her own name next to the blank for the male name. That blank had to be filled with only Shin Jae-hyuk's name.
Jo Eun-byeol, who came out late, only said, "Interesting," at seeing Shin Jae-hyuk's and Woo Seo-yoon's names written side by side and did not particularly reveal her feelings. Shin Jae-hyuk was also helpless but went on the date with consideration for Woo Seo-yoon and to recreate the fun memories from their previous date. Even right before the final choice, the love triangle only grew stronger.
