Lee Suhyun has previously opened up about difficulties related to dieting. On a recent appearance on "You Quiz on the Block," Lee Suhyun said, "I was so tired of other people caring about me. When I went to music shows, everyone was thin, so I was always the one who had to lose weight. Slumps and self-censorship overlapped and I let everything go. Food was the biggest thing that could fill the mental void. I would binge eat every day. Naturally, I gained weight rapidly, and my skin stretched. As my self-esteem and confidence hit rock bottom, I stopped interacting with people. My social anxiety worsened and I was afraid of people staring at me."
Although Lee Suhyun nearly collapsed during a long slump, her older brother Lee Chanhyuk extended a helping hand, and she grabbed it and got back up, returning with the fourth studio album "Bloom." Lee Suhyun expressed gratitude, saying, "Three years ago, I never thought I would be smiling in front of the camera again.
